A sound that smells of endless youthful summer days - warm, nostalgic, slightly confused and yet full of happiness: The music of Melody's Echo Chamber unfolds a whole spectrum of good feelings with artfully arranged psychedelic pop. Behind the project is the Frenchwoman Juliana Melody Prochet, born and raised in romantic Puyricard in Provence. After classical training on the violin, she founded the band My Bee's Garden. In 2010 she accompanied Tame Impala on their European tour - a meeting that changed many things: frontman Kevin Parker began producing Prochet's solo pieces and Melody's Echo Chamber was born.

In 2012 her self-titled debut album was released, a fine mixture of dream pop, psychedelic rock and French pop, which received international recognition and took her to concerts around the world. The album “Unfold” was created at the same time, but initially disappeared into the drawer after the separation from Parker.

Instead, Prochet began producing herself and developing her own musical signature. Her second album “Bon Voyage” (2018), which she actually planned as a farewell, bears witness to this – the years before that were exhausting. But a move from Paris to the French Alps and the enforced calm of the pandemic led to new songs. The result: “Emotional Eternal” (2022). In the same year, the long-delayed “Unfold” was finally released, whose pieces she had reinterpreted over the years.

Now Prochet is back with her new album “Unclouded”. Like her previous works, this album also radiates warmth and a dreamy, almost fairytale atmosphere. It's an inward look, a daydream about growing up and the search for clarity. The title takes up a quote from the Japanese director Hayao Miyazaki: “You must see with eyes unclouded by hate”. Prochet was supported by a hand-picked group of talented musicians: violinist Josefin Runsteen, guitarist Daniel Ögen, bassist Love Orsan, drummer Malcom Catto and co-producer Sven Wunder.

Concerts by Melody’s Echo Chamber have become rare in recent years – and that is precisely why they are incomparable. On stage, Prochet's personality shines through: warm, graceful and full of palpable love for the music. Anyone who wants to get in the mood for the coming summer in April 2026 now has the opportunity: two concerts in Germany promise warmth, colorfulness and psychdelia par excellence.
