Belgium has always been a supplier of good bands (we just say Balthazar). The Meltheads also join the long list of phenomenal Belpop bands. They are no longer an insider tip in their homeland. Musically it's a cold shower, a slap in the face with a bouquet of sounds - good old punk mixed with post punk and cold wave elements. We love! The WDR Rockpalast has already discovered her. The Meltheads are driven by the metronomically tight rhythm section of Tim Pensaert (bass) and Simon de Geus (drums) and the razor-sharp guitar of Yunas de Proost. And then there's frontman Sietse Willems - a man born to perform on stage like Morrison, Plant and Iggy Pop. The Rockpalast has already discovered the boys. Now that the debut album is out, it won't be long until the rest of the world follows suit.
In autumn 2024 the boys will be on their first tour of Germany with their debut album Decent Sex in their luggage.
