About event
Memorial of Irena and Vojtěch Havel
On Thursday, September 10, we will meet together for the third time to honor the human and artistic legacy of Irena and Vojtěch Havel. The meeting will take place in the outdoor courtyard of the Dobrá teahouse on Wenceslas Square in Prague - a place they both liked, where they sometimes played together and where they often went for tea.
Just like at the previous two meetings dedicated to Vojtěch Havel, music will be heard as a space for sharing, listening and seeking harmony. The friendship of Irena and Vojtěch was a gift for many people, their work and life are a permanent inspiration and their personalities remain a model of humanity, openness and humility. It is precisely these values that we want to remember together and carry forward.
Together with co-organizer Petr Bergmann and Dobrá čajovna, this year we have invited exceptional musicians and musicians who are connected to the legacy of Irena and Vojtěch Havel through their work, friendship or a shared musical world.
The program of live concerts will take place on two stages - the Buddha Stage and the Tea Corner Stage - in the outdoor area of Dobrá tea room from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Entrance is voluntary.
All performers participate in the concert free of charge. The voluntary entrance fee will be used in full to cover the costs associated with the organization of the event, provision of equipment and travel expenses of the performers.
Thank you for your support.
