Rudavsky's Magic Garden is a magical place that was created in the 60s of the last century on the outskirts of Bratislava in the Podunajské Biskupice district, from the talent and passion for art of Andrej and Mária Rudavský, who were among the most outstanding personalities of the visual arts of their generation.
The unusual sculpture garden can be compared to world-famous artistic exteriors such as Chandigarh, Le Corbusier's modernist architectural utopia in India, Tarot's garden in Tuscany, Little Sparta - Hamilton Finlay's rope garden in Dunsyre, Scotland, Ilana Goor museum in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel. returned to Slovakia after a successful career in the USA precisely because of the uniqueness of this place. For example, he is the winner of the MTV Award for the video Kiko and the Lavender https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qmr_uQv_YRw. His works travel all over the world.
Ondriš, as we call him, began to bring his work closer to the Slovak public and exceptionally opens the Magic Garden premises to a wider audience. In the past, I have taken some mensans there on private tours, it is a meeting place for many Slovak intellectuals and artists.
On Saturday 6/12/2025, an Art Market has been prepared, where you can enrich your Christmas gifts with affordable items (graphics, books).
We will meet at the place at 14.00.
