About event
The 13th year of the MERKÁDO festival will take place on 12-13 June 2026 in the Holešovice Market and will transform the city center into Latin America for two days. 🌺
Merkádo is mainly about dance, music and Latin American markets, where the Czech Latino community will present itself. 💃🎶
On the first day of the festival, there will be a festive drum procession to the rhythm of samba led by Tam Tam Batucada, the winner of the StarDance dance competition Veronika Lálové and her dancers, and Axé Capoeira Prague. 🪩

The cultural program over two days will offer:

Latin American markets will present fifty vendors with typical products - from exotic foods to original textiles, jewelry and products from "artesanos" from the countries South and Central America. 🌎
You can look forward to traditional dishes prepared by Latin Americans living in the Czech Republic, complemented by selected Latin restaurants and bars.
