About event
MERKÁDO is returning to Jiřák after three years and we are very happy about it! On days 18-19. In September 2026, we will turn part of Náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrady into Latin America. 🌺
You can look forward to markets with excellent food, beautiful products and the Czech Latino community. We are also preparing a cultural program. 💃🎶

The accompanying program over two days will offer:
🎶 Concerts
💃 Evening fiesta with Latino DJs
🕺 Dance workshops for children and adults
🎊 Piñata for children

Latin American markets will present about forty vendors with typical products – from exotic foods to original textiles, jewelry and products from "artesanos" from South and Central America. 🌎
You can look forward to traditional dishes prepared by Latin Americans living in the Czech Republic, supplemented by selected Latin restaurants and bars.
