23. 11. Month of the Carpathian Forest: 😼 Lynx vs. Wolf 🐺
Come find out what lynxes and wolves really do when we feel like we are alone in the forest. We will talk about their hunting tricks, how they divide their territory, how they avoid people and what they have to survive in order to survive in our nature.
You will also learn what you might not expect: for example, why the lynx leaves a "natural refrigerator" for animals, what wolf life looks like and whether our forests have the capacity for more animals than we think.
The program is also suitable for children and adults. 👨👩👧

🌳Jerguš Tesák / Sunday 14:00 / in the ZOOklub building
Jerguš Tesák is a zoologist and ecologist who is dedicated to the protection of wild nature and accompanying in nature. He graduated from the Technical University in Zvolen, worked as a zoologist at the Muránska Planina National Park Administration and at WWF Slovakia, where he mainly dealt with international projects for the protection of large animals and the resolution of conflicts between them and humans. He is known as a nature guide, where he focuses on ecotourism and sharing knowledge about wildlife.

You can find the ZOO club in the central part of the zoo, near the Palacinka buffet and the red panda enclosure.
