About event
🌱 Do you know what organic farming means and why it is better than conventional farming? Can organic farming feed a growing population? And how is it possible to face climate change through gardening?
😊 We will talk about these and other topics with Domča Douděrová, coordinator of MetroPole — community garden and urban farm in Prague's Jinonice. Farmers grow organic vegetables here and create a place where people from the city can grow their own crops, where they can stick their hands in the dirt and be in nature for a while.
💚You will walk through the garden, you will be able to ask everything you are interested in and talk to local gardeners and gardeners about growing and the origin of food. Part of the event will be sitting by the fire with a barbecue. We will have small refreshments on site, but you can also bring your own (preferably meat-free) snacks.🔥
🌳 We will meet at 18:00 at the metro station B Jinonice, then we will go to the farm together. If you know you will arrive later, arrive directly at the farm.

Prague's Thursday brontosaur clubs are open to all brontosaurs, but also to those who want to get to know us or join us. We, Rozruši, are a group of young people who care about nature and monuments.
