About event
Opportunity to see what the Prales eco-centre in Prague's Kbely has to offer. With the guide, the participants will have a brief look at the outdoor areas of the local eco-centre and then head to the apiary. In the nearby Dřevák building, an engaging explanation awaits them about why bees do not sleep in winter, what bee products can be used to treat winter colds and why even frozen honey can be healthy. They will learn how to raise their own queen and how difficult it is to keep the bees from flying away in the spring.
