MetzgerButcher im Artliners Berlin

The brothers Larry Butcher and Hans W. Metzger have been playing together in bands since their youth in the 1980s. After the end of their last band, the Bonn Punkrock Trio Wantu & The Srie 4's, in spring 2020, both were immediately clear that they wanted to continue making music together. This is how the Duo Metzgerbutcher was created: two brothers with bass and guitar together with an electronic rhythm machine! Influenced by the punk of the 70s and NDW bands of the early 1980s, the musical direction was given. After two digital singles and two EPS, the debut album "two to twelve" appeared in June 2023, which received consistently good reviews (among others in the OX magazine, vinyl-keks.eu or Deutschlandfunk Kultur). In November 2024 a new single from Metzgerbutcher appeared with "Alles".
