About event
The Camera Department of FAMU Prague, VŠMU Bratislava and Lodz Film School invite you to the 1st year of the student conference "CONNECTION", which will take place on 28-29 11. 2024 in the projection of Studio FAMU, Klimentská 4, Prague 1. Representatives of three universities from the fields of camera and editing will speak at the conference to point out their interconnectedness and thus support cooperation not only between these fields, but also between individual schools.
Students and academics share their experience of filming and post-production in one-hour blocks, which will also include discussion. Among the invited guests will be, for example, the winner of the European Film Award for Best Editing, Jarosław Kamiński, who will present the Oscar-winning film Ida (2013) followed by a lecture about the work on this film.
The conference program is two days long and is freely accessible to all students who are hereby cordially invited.
