They present themselves as defenders of the traditional family and those who shout the alarm against "gender ideology", whatever that means. As part of their agenda, they promote the ban on sex education, the restriction of the rights of LGBTQ+ people, they are concerned about the protection of women from violence, and they also seek to ban abortion. The anti-gender movement in Europe and the Czech Republic is growing stronger and often succeeds in finding ways to influence public policies. How long have these movements been active in the Czech Republic and what steps are they taking? What is their idea of ​​an "ideal Czech Republic" in the coming years? Journalist Prokop Vodrážka, who deals with reportage, social and political texts in Deník N, and social scientist Eva Svatoňová, who works at the Department of Social Work at the University of Ostrava and has been dealing with the anti-gender movement for a long time, will discuss.
