Identity and resistance: the theme of internalized racism in written literature Portuguese

Aquilina Ribeira Research Center and the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University cordially invite you to a lecture by Mgr. Kláry Trsková, Ph.D., which will be devoted to the topic of internalized racial oppression in the texts of selected contemporary writers writing in Portuguese from the geographic area of ​​Angola, Mozambique, Guinea-Bissau, Cape Verde, São Tomé and Príncipe, taking into account postcolonial and decolonial issues . The author will follow up her dissertation with a lecture.

Mgr. Klára Trsková, Ph.D.

She studied Portuguese studies and film studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague and CAS at FAMU. It focuses on Lusophone film and post-colonial themes. Since 2019, he has been working at the National Film Archive. She successfully defended her dissertation in the field of Romance Literature at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague this year. With this, the Aquilina Ribeira Research Center sincerely congratulates her!
