Mgr. Martin Skála: Proces individuace v obrazech Splendor Solis

During the lecture, the participants will be presented to the paintings of Splendor Solis attributed to the Renaissance alchemist Salomon Trismosin. Analytical-psychological interpretation will focus on the symbolic expression of the process of individualization in this work. We will touch the archetypes of the hero, shadow, animation and animation and the essential self. We will monitor the processes of the formation of human individuality, life turnover, distinguishing the outside and inner world, etc. We will also outline the analogy of a series of images in the psychotherapeutic process. The interpretation will be based mainly on the following books C.G. Junga: Personality and Transmission, Images of Salvation in Alchemy, Ghost Mercuryus and mysterium coniunctionis.

Mgr. Martin Skála is an analytical psychologist trained in the IAAP, working in the private practice of the gazebo psychology in Prague, and has long been interested in symbols in dreams, myths and culture. He led a number of lectures and seminars. He is the author of the book on the way of the sunlight.
