About event
The duo of experienced musicians brings a repertoire based on the singer's original work. Dreamy ambient pop with poetic Czech lyrics will be heard this time in an acoustic chamber performance. The author's block will then be completed by the duo with specially processed compositions by popular Czech and international songwriters.
For example, compositions by artists Sting, Seal, Annie Lennox or David Stypka will be heard. Michaela Jonczy is a singer and songwriter. She graduated from the Plzeň Conservatory and the Complete Vocal Academy in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In the fall of 2024, she christened her debut album "Stay the same" and now performs with her original repertoire in smaller clubs and cafes.
She sings and takes part in the multi-genre performance OBNAŽENA by the acrobat Ivy Kolcun, is a soloist of the Maranatha Gospel Choir and the Magnum Jazz Bigband, and also performs in musical Lazarus by David Bowie (Divadlo Komedie).
As a vocalist, she collaborates with the American singer Tonya Graves.
Karel Bárta Guitarist who has been active on the Prague professional music scene for over 25 years.
