About event
The recital offers a journey to the times of the peak baroque.
With words and music, however, it not only recalls its specifically contemporary meaning - it also seeks its timeless overlaps. In other words, inspirational impulses for the life of the twenty-first century. The ambition of such mirroring is emphasized by the very space in which the artists meet their listeners: the magically conceived Mirror Chapel of Prague's Klementin. On them are biblical figures depicted around 1720. Those people have enough of their own worries and face their own challenges, and yet we are somewhat closer than it might seem at first glance. This is exactly what Michal Horáček devotes his thoughts to.
