Michal Pavlíček Trio & Hostia Bára Basiková and Vilém Čok also remember Stromboli
Three unmistakable personalities who formed one of the most striking bands on the Czech rock scene - Stromboli. Michal Pavlíček Trio will perform on March 6, 2025 in MMC (Majestic Music Club) with a special program. In the second half of the concert there will be songs from the repertoire Stromboli performed by Pavlíček and his guests: Báry Basiková and Vilema Čkk. The work in bands such as the Prague, Stromboli, Big Heads, Trio or SuperGroup, as well as in many other projects and collaborations, was shaped by his unique music manuscript. Pavlíček's guitar game is diverse, but the most striking is manifested in rock, jazz, film and scenic music, and always sounds original. As a sought -after author and artist, he participated in the albums of artists such as Richard Müller, Kamil Střihavka, Monika Načeva and others.
He has composed music for sixteen films, ten TV series, thirty -five television productions - he has four musicals, six ballets and music for twenty -three theater performances. Published over 70 CD and DVD carriers. In 2015 he was introduced to the Hall of Fame of the Academy of Popular Music and in 2016 he won the Angel Award for his lifelong work. In 2024 he received the Czech Lion for the best music in the film Dance Matyldo. Last time he released the studio albums

The second part of the concert will be dedicated to the cult band Stromboli, which was created after the ban on the Prague. Next year we will commemorate the 30th anniversary of its foundation. Pavlíček met in Stromboli with his teammate Vilém Čok and Bára Basiková, whom the vocal admired during her work in the group Precedens. The explosive cocktail of rock, jazz, new wave, metal and space rock was born music with a touch of vestibule and expressive vocal. Stromboli released two albums - the same namely called Stromboli (1987) and Shutdown (1989), after which the band fell apart after four years. Since 2014 they have restored their activities, but their concerts are a rarity.
