MICHAL PROKOP TRIO - 16.+17.12.25 - METRO MUSIC BAR

The acoustic trio of Michal Prokop (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Luboš Andršt (guitar) and Jan Hrubý (violin) have played since 1987 as a free association of three prominent personalities of the Czech music scene with a solid repertoire. During the long -term medical indisposition and subsequent death of Luboš Andršt, as in Prokop's "large band" Framus Five, the previous Andrštův and Prokop's close associate, guitarist Pavel Marcel. Although the repertoire of the Trio with a new member was a logically somewhat different form, chemistry between three musicians is the same family and mostly club concerts that the trio devotes to is as strong as they were at any time. Several cover versions, of course, especially from the rank of Prokop's beloved Blues, which he as the only Czech has sang on the world's largest blues holiday Chicago Blues Festival.
