The recent restoration of the Michalská tower 🏰 brought a lot of interesting information about its architectural development. The documents stored in the Archives of the City of Bratislava 📜 and other institutions reveal details that help us better understand various aspects of the rebuilding and restoration of this historic gate.

We will find out, for example, how much the copper cost to cover the roof of the tower, where it came from, but also other fascinating insights from the life of one of the most important monuments of our city ✨.

These and other historical facts will be presented to us by an architectural historian and archive researcher Patrik Baxa from the Municipal Institute for the Protection of Monuments in Bratislava 🎙️📚
