[FRIDAY EARLY SHOW] Mike Rice: Live in Lisbon・Work In Progress

**“_If there’s any comedian that everyone can recommend, it’s Mike Rice.”_
— The Wee Review**

Welcome to “Republic of Comedy”, the new international comedy club in Lisbon’s growing comedy scene! Bringing shows with the best local and international comedians at Xafarix, a historic venue tucked away in the heart of the city. This week we are proud to feature a three-day residency of MIKE RICE!

Irish farmer’s son, and generally nasty character Mike Rice is one of Ireland and the UK’s fastest rising comedy stars. Having started comedy in 2015, Mike has amassed a large online following from podcast and stand up clips, regularly getting millions of views on various platforms.

As well as co-hosting podcasts Mike & Vittorio’s Guide to Parenting with Vittorio Angelone, and Big Mike and The Chiefwith Rob Moriarty, Mike has appeared multiple times on smash hit podcast Have a Word, and released his first comedy special in October 2023.

After multiple sold out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe (world’s largest comedy festival), Mike brought his brand new show on his first ever UK and Ireland Tour.

In this show, Mike will refine new jokes and stories for his upcoming solo show before releasing it as his new solo show. “His WIP is only more impressive [than his last solo] when it comes to making the unthinkable funny”.

His comedy is truly an unholy mix of the poetic and the crass — if you like dark, wild and silly comedy: this show is for you.

Exclusively at Republic of Comedy Wednesday 20th to Friday 22nd, with special guests opening!

Best of all, it’s a donation-based show, which means that admission is free! However, we do ask that you donate at the end of the show, so that we can continue to bring you the highest quality entertainment possible.
