A non-ambient album intended for ambient listening. This is how the festival Unsound describes the latest album poľskej zvukovej umelkyne paszka. The description, which the organizers stole from the bandcamp of the LOM publishing house, in which the album was released, would fit most of the past concerts in the LOM space. The album estoy chillando is ADHD pop with a bitter, saccharine approach, in which the surrounding soundscapes break down into atoms and molecules, which then chaotically glitch into a completely new, often very crunchy and even more entertaining reality. You have two options when listening like this. You can focus all your attention on one point, find the ground under your feet, and then try to hold on to reality with your teeth and nails, or leave it to the universe, reflect on the atmosphere and submit to the centrifugal force of an unstoppable centrifuge. His older albums were released, for example, in Gin&Platonic or Pointless Geometry. The album hosts Kacha, Ursula Sereghy, Julek Ploski, Lénok, and Staś Czekalski. Simply stredoeurópska smotánka. You won't miss it!

Miłosz Kędra patria medzi sznejná živej poľskej scény. Last year, they released their second album called their internal diapasons (Pointless Geometry), which received positive reviews from Pitchfork, The Wire, and even Bandcamp. Zaznamenali na něm transformation of organových píšťá, which zozbieralipo celom Polski. Acoustic sound, textures and arrangements are here preskupuju do completely new, synthetic compositions. In this process, the concept of Audiomacy – the production of lost sounds – was repeatedly returned to. Kędra sú vo svoj tvorbe also hnaní ozalanom Didier Eribon and svoje current work most often frame it with Sartrovým tátátom: "What matters is not what is made of us, but what we ourselves make of what is made of us." To LOMu they brought a new, portable version of their organ. 'support': 15€

Earlier this year, Polish eccentric paszka, made her LOM debut with 'estoy chillando', a perplexingly described "non-ambient album for ambient listening in its original sense." What does this mean, exactly? Well, paszka wants to encourage a certain level of passive listening, without resorting to overdone contemporary Big Ambient tropes. And it's eerily fascinating, emotionally ambivalent material, the perfect way to follow her glitchy bluescreen-pop defragmentation 'lapton' and its maximalist predecessor 'Gluon'. href="https://miloszkedra.com/">https://miloszkedra.com/

While Miłosz Kędra was working on their latest album 'their internal dispasons' (released earlier this year on Pointless Geometry), the Polish electroacoustic composer wandered the country scavenging pipes from abandoned church organs, building his own idiosyncratic "organ emulator". Processing the instrument's familiar tones and textures, Kędra pulls sacred music away from its expected spaces, repurposing lost sonorities using a process that might best be described as “audiomancy”.
