Zeynep Toraman is a songwriter from Istanbul who works in Berlin. In his works, he explores the ways in which texts can interact with each other in the wider framework of musical compositions. Zeynep works between academic research and long-term work on poetry, fiction and history, often collaborating with various international orchestras. V LOMe presents the new project Glossolalia, which deals with incorrect interpretations, sound translations and changes in voice, where musical material uses rave editing of one's own voice.
loops, terrain recordings, drone and guitar ambient music. Jonáš already played several interesting concerts at events such as Real Shit, Samé Ucho also appeared at the Near festival. Last month he was again part of the collective, which presented the composition Mixed Signals in the Slúchadlo sound gallery. He returns to the scene with an electroacoustic set, in which he plays virtual instruments created using field recordings, sine waves, laoský khaen and harmonium. Zeynep Toraman

Zeynep Toraman is a composer and scholar from Istanbul, Turkey, living and working in Berlin, Germany. Her practice-based research explores the ways in which texts (in the broadest sense of this word) can interact with one another within the larger framework of musical compositions, by way of thinking of her own library as an archive, and enfolding autobiography, poetry, fiction and history within her works. At LOM, she will present a set from her new project Glossolalia, exploring misreadings, sonic translations, and shifts in voice, moving between language and sound, using a Rave model of her own voice. Zeynep taught at the Institute for Electronic Music and Acoustics (IEM) at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz and she completed her PhD in Music Composition at Harvard University in 2023. href="https://motviljavl.bandcamp.com/music">https://motviljavl.bandcamp.com/music
Motvilja (formerly metanoia elongation) is an experimental project by Jonáš Mačinga that connects elements of electroacoustic minimalism, tape loops, field recordings, drone, and guitar ambient music. Jonáš has performed several notable concerts at events such as Real Shit and Samé Ucho, and he has also appeared at the Near festival. Last month he was part of a collective that presented the composition Zmiešané signaly (Mixed Signals) in the sound gallery Slúchadlo. Now he returns with an electroacoustic set featuring virtual instruments created from field recordings, sine waves, the Lao khaen, and harmonium.
