This will be the last Mikrozvuk pred začinami a teda veľkolepá rozlúčka s jarnou sezonou s Forest Factory. Forest Factory is an experimental duo formed by Elvin Brandhi and Andreas Trobollowitsch. Their work is a cross-section of acoustic, mechanical and electronic sounds, while at the center of their performance are self-made mechanical gramophones, live-sounding wooden boards, samplers and the human voice. It appears here as another sound material between nature, bodies and mechanical machines. On the stage, they move between noise, hip-hop, metal, pop and electroacoustic experiments. The result is always a physical, unpredictable and immersive experience. You know this well from other Elvin Brandhi projects, which you had the opportunity to hear in LOMe, T3, or A4.
Forest Factory is the duo of fellow nomads Elvin Brandhi and Andreas Trobollowitsch. Each using self-made turntables, sampler and voice to create a unique acoustic repertoire, suffusing computational and organic tonalities. Redefining themselves in a range of contexts lends fluidity and plurality to the topology of their aesthetic. Their debut album, “HOLZWEG”, will be released in June 2026 on the Japanese label ato.archives.
