Yes, yes, friendship, it's here. This year's Santa Claus will bring you not only tangerines and advent calendars, but also the pleasure of a televised duel. Insight, knowledge, suspense, fun: this is AZ-quiz, a competition for everyone. Will our hero Martin conquer the ATM? Will he be the chosen one to draw lots? Or will he take the encyclopedia of dogs? Will he pull out of the AZ-quiz with shame? Watch the first program of Czech Television on Thursday, December 5 from 17:15, MIKULÁŠSKO-MARTINSKÁ NADÍLKOVÁ EXTRAVAGANZA awaits you! And since public law also includes an educational role, we have prepared an accompanying LECTURE for you on Tuesday, December 10, from 4:00 p.m. "From mass to popular: the re-appropriated life of the AZ-quiz show" in the AVC classroom on the 5th floor of the MU Faculty of Social Studies. Like, a real lecture. It will be led by a real teacher from the Department of Media Studies and Journalism. You will find out the details in time. The lecture will be followed by a joint viewing of an episode that will surely go down in the history of Czech television production. Recommended dress code: AZ-quiz.
The AZ-quiz competition has been produced by the Czech Television studio in Brno since 1997. Competitors answer questions, for the answers of which they receive boxes, which they must use to connect the three sides of the playing triangle. Whoever advances to the finals also advances to the filming of the next episode, up to five times. The winner of the final then also draws for a cash prize at an ATM. The main trophy, which roughly 5% of the contestants achieve, is the T-shirt with the competition logo in the AZ-quiz. Only those who take part in five shootings in a row will get this. Will the hero of our narrative reach this goal? Let yourself be surprised in December!
