About event
You can hear a touch of folk, jazz and chanson performed by singer Mila Medvedovská. A piano accompaniment inspired by Ukrainian and Slovak folk songs will be played under the baton of Daniel Špiner.
Mila Medvedovská is a Ukrainian singer and singing teacher who, together with her 10-year-old daughter, left her home in the city of Dnipro after the Russian invasion. to Ukraine in March 2022. Not knowing where she was actually going, she found refuge in Bratislava, Slovakia. Despite the fact that after leaving home she was convinced that she would never find the strength and desire to sing again, fate wanted it differently and she found new inspiration and opportunities right here. Thanks to happy coincidences, she managed to establish contacts with the local community of musicians very soon after her arrival.
She works steadily and creates with the composer and pianist Daniel Špiner. Their artistic and creative connection and harmony was evident from the first meeting.
Entrance fee: €10 / €6
