The student association "Music among paintings" cordially invites you to a concert performed by young artists! He will perform at the concert in cooperation with pianist Pavol Praguer. 🎹
The first half of the concert will belong to Mahler. First, the “Rücert's songs”, Friedrich Rückert's lyrics, whose premiere took place in 1905 in an orchestral modification in Vienna in a small Musikvereinsaal, now called Brahmsaal. The singers were accompanied by members of the Vienna Philharmonic, directed by Mahler himself. At the same concert, the premiere of six songs from the cycle "The Boys' Magic Horn" took place for soprano, baritone and orchestra. At our concert we will be able to listen to the songs for singing and piano.
In the second half we will move from Vienna to Prague, where Mozart in 1787 composed the aria “Bella Mia Fiamma, Addio”. At the end of the concert we will move to Italy, more precisely to Naples, where the most famous of Donizetti's serious operas, the opera Lucie of Lammermoor, was introduced for the first time in 1895. We can look forward to the fact that it is in the arias of this opera that the singers will introduce themselves together. 🎊
