About event
Mindful Walk: Healing plants
Intro
Living with the seasons is central at the meditation garden. Autumn is a season full of movement: the temperature drops and the wind is swallowing the leaves of the trees. We are invited to land and find the peace in ourselves.
In this mindful walk, Maartje takes you out to connect to the nature around you, and nature in yourself.
The seasons are clearly visible in nature, but also live as life cycles in ourselves. By meditative walking through nature, these parallels become more visible. We can learn a lot from nature about ourselves.
What we are going to do
During a meditative walk through the park we discover the plants around us. We use all our senses to observe the patterns of nature and taste the elements from nature.
We are going to view, feel, smell and taste plants, because there are also edible plants in a city park. You learn about the medicinal power of plants and how you can use it in daily life. With this you learn to live in more direct contact with nature and the seasons, also in the city.
what you will experience
We will slow down and stop. The head will become quieter and the heart louder, we tune into the frequency of nature. Meaning yourself about the small things and is surprised with new flavors. After this workshop you will experience a walk in nature differently and you will recognize edible plants.
For whom?
For anyone who wants to discover:
- something new about themselves in connection with nature around them.
has interested in everyday life. Facilitator
This workshop is facilitated by Maartje Asscheman. After her studies in Business Administration, Maartje discovers the invaluable value of nature, which does not fit into the economic models she has learned. She delves into the world of plants and natural healing and develops a love of gardening, outside and wild picking. In 2024 she started her business well -founded with which she focuses on restoring both the connection with nature around us and our inner nature. In addition, Maartje works as a room rental at the Meditation Garden, and she discovers her inner nature by practicing Ashtanga Yoga.
