Bowl of solidarity: OESKO and Bratislava cook for Ukraine
The war in Ukraine continues for the fourth year. Although it is less talked about today than at its beginning, millions of people still face the consequences of Russian aggression, the loss of their homes, insecurity and the daily struggle for a dignified life.
We invite you to an evening of solidarity with Ukraine, during which we will watch a film dedicated to people affected by the war and then discuss how we can help even today.
The event will also include a Miska charity collection. solidarity, through which we want to support people in Ukraine who still need our help.
If we manage to collect 1,000 euros, under the leadership of Vierka Dubačová, these funds will be used to cook food for people displaced from Kharkiv Oblast, Donbas and other regions of Ukraine affected by bombing and war.
As Vierka Dubačová says:
"We cook food in Kharkivska Catholic charity, where they gave us space. In addition, we buy bread, spreads, coffee and tea. In the morning, we serve people bread, coffee and tea. We deliver soup to the blind, seniors and other people who need help."
