Miso Extra in Paradiso (Locatie gewijzigd)

Perhaps the name already betrays it: Miso extra draws plenty of inspiration from Japanese culture, with here and there a nod to Anime. It is the solo project and the alter ego of the fast -growing artist. Born in Hong Kong as the daughter of a British father and Japanese mother, she partly spent her childhood in Japan before moving to the United Kingdom. Already at a young age she discovered her love for music; She learned to play the violin and sang to Hwalslust. Her sound is influenced by greats such as J Dilla, MF Doom, Daft Punk and Kelis. With these sources of inspiration and her Japanese background, Miso extra creates a quirky world, which she calls 'the misovers' herself. She recently released a new single called 'Good Kisses' with famous Indie band Metronomy.
