About event
For the fifteenth time in a row, the IMPROVISATION CHAMPION title will be handed out and with it a shiny traveling cup. And this time it will be a proper dance in the style of StarDance. The evening full of glitter, elegance and humor will take place on Thursday 14 May 2026 from 19:30 at the NoD Theater (Dlouhá 33, Prague 1). Unfortunately, you will not be guided through the evening by Marek Eben, but by the reigning champion of 2025 – Honza, who will hand over the traveling cup to his successor at the end. Who will become the king or queen of the improv floor? Come and decide for yourself!
In the course of the evening, a complete line-up of your favorite and experienced improvisers from the IMPROvariation group will unpack it, who will cut the most graceful short improvisations according to your topics and assignments. Situations like a dramatic paso doble, an energetic jiva, a romantic waltz or an unexpected freestyle. Will the tens fall? The audience will vote together to decide who "doesn't advance to the next round" and who, on the contrary, will dance their way to victory and the title of MASTER OF IMPROVISATION 2026. And this year too, every vote of yours counts, and thanks to our application you don't have to send it via SMS.
Ladies and gentlemen, enter and come and decide on the new master of improvisation.
We look forward to seeing you.
Honored by: Honza Urban
Played by: IMPROvariation ensemble
Music: Tanita Yankova
Application development: František Pác
Performance length 2.5 hours (including one break).
