Restless and eyeless Nico grows up in a secular family for whom technological progress and the Internet are a religion. He has to spend the summer in Sicily with a bigoted aunt, a grumpy old whore, living alone in an ancient villa full of legends and superstitions, without Wi-Fi, electrical appliances or any of the achievements of the time. It's as if time has stopped. Not even his aunt welcomes him with open arms. She tries to integrate him into her world of angels and spirits, controlled by the magical power of faith. At the beginning of their tumultuous relationship, the modern world collides with the past, reason with religion, the fast rhythm of life with the slow passage of time. Despite this, a bond gradually deepens between them, which neither of them knew they needed.
