About event
Spring in the floodplain forest means new life - the first voices of the young, movement under the leaves and awakening families of various animals. The Cubs of the Alluvial Forest workshop, prepared on the occasion of the World Day of Wild Animals (March 3), invites children to get to know what animals look like in the early stages of life and what changes await them as they grow.
What will we do?
Children will create their own "family photos" of animal families from the alluvial forest - on a cardboard base and using simple recycled materials such as egg cartons or toilet rolls. While creating, we will talk about how cubs differ from adult animals, what their typical features are, how they learn to survive and what role they play in the floodplain forest ecosystem.
Workshop details:
Date: Saturday March 14 and 28, 2026
Times: 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
Place: Ekocentrum Čunovo (mansion)
Recommended age: 5+
Entrance fee: 4 € / child (one accompanying adult is free)
How to register?
Tickets can be purchased directly at the Ekocentra box office before the start of the workshop. We recommend arriving a little earlier so that you have time to see our exhibition or to walk around the grounds of the manor house before creating.
We are looking forward to all the new "family portraits" that will be created with us on Saturday!
