NEW KLEZMER RELOADED

Maciej Gołębiowski + Miloš Todorovski
+ Opening Jam session

Maciej Golebiowski (clarinet) comes from Poland, Milos Todorovski (bayan/button accordion) from Serbia. They decided to bring their enthusiasm for klezmer music to the stage as a duo under the motto new klezmer reloaded. Inspired by folk, classical, funk, tango and oriental sounds, they found their very own approach to jazz. Their jazz interpretations develop in the spirit of improvisation, into which the folk music from their homeland also flows again and again.

In this sense, new klezmer reloaded are also “modern klezmorim”, i.e. those musicians who accompanied life in the Eastern European shtetlech - from the cradle to bar mitzvah and wedding to the grave. The Klezmorim traveled and always added new music to their repertoire. We also find this constantly transforming music while preserving the core elements in new klezmer reloaded.

The Polish-Serbian duo touches, refreshes, impresses and is full of stylistic surprises - a phenomenon that no audience can escape.

Jam Session

Following the New Klezmer Reloaded Set, as is already tradition at the MoA Music Festival, a jam session. Musicians - bring your instruments!
