About event
MODERNLOVE. Will come to the OZ on Tuesday 27 May! Van Games in small pubs in the countryside to work with super producer Luca Buccellati, known for collaborations with Lana del Rey and Arlo Parks. The Irish foursome is well on its way to realizing their potential as one of the fastest rising pop rock bands. In their music, themes come to the fore when growing up in boring, small towns, growing up, nights and a young love that ends wrong. The band mixes influences from the FuturePop of The 1975, the danceable indie of Bloc Party, the experimental ambient of Jon Hopkins and Poppunk, and thus forms its own sound. Their versatile IndieProprockpalet is further explored on their recent album 'Something to Hold on To'.
