Moi, Europe – Já, Evropa

Author's reading from the upcoming book Moi, Europe by the writer Lenka Horňáková-Civade. I am European. (…) How to name Europe, identify it, heal it, how to tell and sing about it, how to present it from this or that point of view? How to do it? Letting her speak for herself and hearing her voice, offering her the opportunity to tell her own story - that could be the solution. To hear her words - that's what we could be talking about."

The author will present her new book, which will be published in French by the Reconnaissance publishing house in France in March 2025.
The French text will be read by Claire Vidoni. The author of the book will read the Czech translation. The reading is followed by a debate about the creation of this literary project, its implementation and translation into Czech, which is being created as part of the Villa Bohêma residency.
