About event
Come to the Náprstek Museum to enjoy a unique family event that is intended for parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles or other adults who are in charge of the youngest children from birth to five years. While for adults there is an engaging interpretation of fascinating cultures of Australia and oceania, children can entertain thematic activities adapted to their young age. Trying painting with dotting technology, they can color pictures of local animals, kindergarten children try to train fine motor skills using individuals, and all regardless of age can touch nature, replicas of exhibited items or try some of the ocean musical instruments. Enjoy a cultural experience and entertainment in a safe and stimulating environment where children find out how it actually goes in the museum. We count on everything that children do with children. Sitting on the ground, climbing and chattering allowed!
The event will guide you by two guides to ensure interpretation and entertainment for children. Throughout the event, their adult accompaniment is responsible for the children, the guides cannot watch.

Recommendations for visitors with the smallest: If you plan to arrive with a baby or not walking toddle, we recommend taking a smaller blanket with you where you can sit with your child. The museum is partly barrier -free, before entering the museum there are short stairs, where there is a platform, or with prams will help our custodians. The stroller must be left in the vestibule of the museum near the changing rooms or cash registers (according to the instructions of custodians), the area of the exhibition Australia and Oceania on the 3rd floor of the museum then leads from the first mezzanine. If you use a scarf or carrier, we recommend using it for the event. There is a changing table in the toilets, children can get in the room next to the exhibition, where you can jump at any time during the program.
