About event
The unique project of photographer Gabriela Teplická and mobile hospice Most Home documents the accompanying of dying patients and their loved ones in the home environment.
The opening of the photo exhibition will take place on Friday 4.4. at 17:00 in Piešťany power plant. It includes a commented show with the author of the photographs and a expert discussion on the theme of the ending, dying and death.
The project is implemented thanks to support from the participatory budget of the Trnava self -governing region and in cooperation with the Piešťany power plant.
In confrontation with death, we are fulfilled by fears, fear, feeling of insecurity, controversy about the meaning of life, but also the power of love and proximity. The project "Moment: Touch of Death" materializes these emotions, the power of the moment and lifts leaving that world using a documentary photography. Openly, directly and at the same time kindly opens the theme of dying and death.
Gabriela Teplická is an internationally awarded photographer and vice president of the Association of Professional Photographers of the Slovak Republic. In his work he focuses on a long -term social document and societal topics.
