About event
Moncrieff is the artistic name of the talented Irish singer and lyricist Chris Breheny, who has such an exceptional voice that you will not forget him after the first listening. If in five or six years someone writes 550 songs, there must be either a obsessed composer, or there are a lot of things in his life he needs to process. Moncrieff meets both.
The expected Moncrieff's debut album "Maybe It’s Fine", which will be released in 2025 under the auspices of Warner Music Central Europe, is his most ambitious project so far. Twelve songs invite Moncrieff listeners to his world and hope to get to know many of it.
with the winner of the Choice Music Prize for the Irish song of 2023. In 2022, Moncrieff released the EP of the same name "Warm" and in June 2023 a new EP called "Highways & Hurricanes". His songs are steadfastly sincere, deeply personal, dealing with love, loss, struggle, vulnerability and searching for inner strength. In 2023 he conquered fans not only with his unmistakable voice, but also by natural interaction with the audience. Come to enjoy an evening full of emotions, strong melodies and charismatic expression - Moncrieff will again show why it is one of the biggest Irish music talents of the present.
