Meet your host(s)
Back in March of 2025 MC Kendra Borgen (US/NL) was born into a Reagan-era hunter-gatherer society in Alaska, Kendra started playing saxophone at age 8 inspired by the musical stylings of Lisa Simpson. After surviving the treacherous journey down the infamous Alaskan-Canadian hi-way she studied Music at the University of Oregon finally leaving the US in 2004 in search of a better life (and an affordable Master’s degree). She bought a one-way ticket to Amsterdam, never looked back and has been entertaining folks in Amsterdam ever since.
Guest Host January: Sharon Em (IR) - described as ‘the funny Irish woman’ meanders her way through life and the planet, rarely with purpose or direction, disproving the theory that not all who wander are lost. She is the kind of no nonsense comic that when she speaks, you listen! She knows what she wants and whose dryness catches you off guard at first. With its ‘did she just say that?’ Attitude. Her style is best described as confessional comedy''.

Her debut solo show 'I know a guy' was nominated for Best Debut at Edinburgh Fringe 2024.She hosts numerous comedy nights in NL, from open mics to professional line up shows, under the name Weird Uncle Comedy. Her best friends still describe her as ‘who?’

January 27th Headliner Brian Babylon (US) - is a Chicago-born comic and radio host. The self-proclaimed “Prince of Bronzeville”, is a fixture in Chicago's rich comedy community. He hosted and produced The Morning AMP radio show on Vocalo 91.1 FM, a sister station of WBEZ / Chicago Public Radio. He’s also been making a name for himself outside of Chicago, placing in the finals of the New York Comedy Contest in 2009 and in 2012 selected to the Comedy Central South Beach Comedy Festival. He has made the move to Los Angeles to join the production team on the Comedy Central show Why? with Hannibal Buress He is also one of the fan favorites of the popular NPR weekly news quiz show Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, contributes to BBC Radio, hosted The Moth Story Slam in Chicago, and was on Inside Amy Schumer on Comedy Central.

Known as an absurdist who can bring audiences in and out of humorous worlds, Lupe Christian Estrada (US) has deep roots in the vibrant comedy scenes of San Francisco and Los Angeles. He currently resides in Amsterdam, where he has become a prominent voice in the city's growing comedy scene. He regularly performs at Boom Chicago, headlines independently run shows, and helps run Captive Audience Comedy with his friends—a popular weekly comedy show at Vice Versa, the coziest cocktail bar in De Pijp.

Meet Elena Popa (RO), a Romanian expat living in Amsterdam. She brings humor and insight to her experiences navigating Dutch culture, from mastering languages to decoding her mother's unique advice. With sharp wit and relatable anecdotes, Elena's comedy captures the quirks of expat life in a way that's both hilarious and heartfelt. Don't miss her take on everything from Dutch bargain-hunting to the challenges of career choices – it's comedy that hits close to home.

Andréa Maria (NZ) Hailing from New Zealand and armed with a Dutch last name, Andréa embodies a delightful contradiction: The least looking and sounding Dutch person you’ll ever encounter. Andréa's popularity soared following a viral moment on Instagram where she shared her comical journey of learning Dutch using Duolingo. Her engaging storytelling, observations, and jack-in-the-box style have captivated audiences, establishing her as a rising star in the Dutch comedy scene.
