It was a secret dream of a little girl for almost 25 years, then came 10 years of hard training and preparations. And it was Monika recently a pale and exhausted patient with a severe incurable disease. Yet she did not give up, fought and climbed. Without huge expeditions, with one sash. She faced frostbite, snow blindness, severe physical and mental falls. In the end, however, she did it and stood on top. Everest and the Pacific ridge tried it very hard, but they taught her that they must always fight for their lives.
