MONONEON

MonoNeon is the stage name of Dywane Thomas, Jr., an American experimental bassist, singer, and songwriter. Always hidden under a hood and white glasses, he has collaborated with some of the biggest names in 20th century music, but he has also proven to be an exceptional solo musician, whose work is essential for lovers of African-American sounds. MonoNeon starts from his bass to fuse rhythms that range from funk, jazz and soul to moments of trance. The result is brilliant compositions, and he has already recorded more than 20 albums. Among his most recent works is There Goes That Man Again Turning Water Into Gin & Juice, of which we will most likely hear something in La Paloma, unless, given how prolific he is, he is already immersed in a new album around that time.< br/>
