Montana is a beautiful country in the north of the USA: it is bigger than Germany, but there are 80x less people and the wilderness is as far as the eye can see. To the west, the massive Rocky Mountains with Glacier National Park rise into the sky, and to the east are vast prairies. The famous Yellowstone is further south, in the state of Wyoming. In its incredibly colorful landscape, we will see not only the famous wonders of the wilderness, but we will also walk through virgin wilderness without people. Close encounters with bison herds are always awe-inspiring, especially when it's during bison rutting season! In addition, we will see pronghorns, wolves, eagles and also bears.
Montana and Wyoming have an extraordinary power: they are almost endless, the least populated in the USA and have the atmosphere of the Wild West. In the Montana prairies, we will even live among prairie Indians and walk the famous Little Bighorn battlefield, where General Custer fell. In the foothills of the Black Hills, the natural and spiritual monument Devils Tower rises high above the surrounding landscape...
After the lecture, there will be an opportunity to "taste" the smell of the forest and look at handmade Indian products and trophies from the wilderness.< br/>
Large-format photos from the American and Jesenice wilderness (A3/A4/panorama) will also be available.
