Moravia Suburbium Vindobonae: Rýnský

The ancient church of St.Vavřince situated below Prague's Petřín, today used primarily for concert purposes, will be the site of the next festival stop, which will be resounded by the virtuoso playing of the music group Rýnský, a dynamic collective of young musicians dedicated to the historically informed interpretation practice of the music of the 17th and 18th centuries. century, whose members are students and graduates of the prestigious Swiss Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.

Concert program Moravia Suburbium Vindobonae for solo violin, viola da gamba and basso continuo, translated as "Morava, a suburb of Vienna"presents the musical works of important composers associated with Moravia and Vienna and provides an insight into the musical creation of the second half of the 17th century associated with these historical places and personalities.

The concert takes place in cooperation with the St. Lawrence concert season.
