About event
Flying snippets, and outstretched fingers, and instead of gel nails, pastels soaked in salt water. When you float on the surface. Sea. And all those neoprene threads. When you take off your harness. They swim. Like straight lines from pebble circles. In the bathtub. In the meadow. On the retina. On, lines. Like in the palm of your hand. You see.
A line is a continuous series of points running in a certain direction or changing directions freely.
If the line is straight and not bounded, it is called a straight line, if it is straight and bounded on both sides, it is a segment, if it is bounded on one side, it is a half-line. And if the line is curved, it is a curve. Assuming that the line is closed, i.e. the beginning and the end merge, it is a closed structure, which under certain conditions can form, for example, a circle, square, rectangle and others. A straight line is a one-dimensional basic shape. It can be viewed as an infinitely thin, bilaterally infinitely long, perfectly straight curve, i.e. a curve with an infinitely large radius of curvature. For every two points there is exactly one straight line that passes through both. This straight line contains the shortest connecting line between the points in question, a segment from one point to another.
From a physical point of view, a straight line is the trajectory of a photon unaffected by gravity.
A trajectory is a line through space that a material point or describes the body in motion. It is therefore a set of all positions of a point in which it can be located at different moments in time. The trajectory can be a straight line, a circle, an ellipse or any general curve.
According to the shape of the trajectory, we divide the movement into rectilinear and curvilinear. The shape of the trajectory depends on the choice of frame of reference.
