About event
💙 The chamber documentary puppet production of a Russian scenographer forming in Prague. The memories pluck a mysterious house with a cold kitchen built from window frames and steep red stairs and its bizarre residents and neighbors: singing bourgeois, veteran of the Afghan War, siblings Dong and Jumbli and other residents of this close and so far world.
🔥 The production was originally created as a project of domestic theater. In 2022, it became part of the project Nová Network for Ukraine, which aimed to present artists and works dealing with current topics in Ukraine and Russia in the Czech Republic. Ru)
➤ Music: Frieda Gawenda (D)
➤ Thanks: Dagmar Urbánková, Tomáš Procházka, Jiří Vydra
➤ The performance will take place in Czech using Russian. He focuses mainly on puppet and object theater. She works primarily as a director and stage designer, and at the same time she is part of art groups, whose work goes beyond various kinds of art. She is the founder of the creative groups of Borshch (Nutcracker. Vegetable ballet) and the Czech-German-Russian group Khwoshch, which is known for its successful puppet opera Dinoper, dealing with the extinction of prehistoric animal species including dinosaurs. Other projects from Khwoshch are, for example, Domysli (Babkové Theater in Žilina) and a research project Hard Theater, where there are large weight objects (premiere at the Prague Alfred Theater in Dvůr). With her puppet solo Moscow-Darja Darja, she traveled the whole Czech Republic. In addition to the theater, Darja devotes himself to painting and animation. She graduated from the bachelor's program of scenography at Kald DAMU and is currently completing the Master's program at Kald DAMU.
