Motion - Auction Preview Eröffnung

In celebration of 100 years of Leica I, the exhibition “Motion” is dedicated to photography as a medium of change.

As an exclusive preview of the Leitz Photographica Auction auction of the same name, the exhibition presents works in which movement becomes a mirror of social and aesthetic change. A highlight of the preview is a rare vintage print of Edward Weston's iconic 1925 nude study, considered a milestone in photographic modernism. The exhibition also shows important names in the history of photography such as Horst P. Horst, Aaron Siskind, Louis Stettner, Elliott Erwitt, Garry Winogrand and many more.
