What does it mean to be a woman, what does it mean to be a man? How does it feel? Where does that feeling live - in my body, in my memories?
Egg Talks is a research process that captures the inner world of an ordinary man and an ordinary woman. Through physical theater, she explores how we (dis)communicate with social categories, learned ideas and adaptation.
^+ An ordinary woman and an ordinary man share their "ordinary" memories linked to their assigned gender. The same as each of us has, only with different cracks, colors, patterns and dirt. We don't often talk about these small details.
Egg Talks production makes them visible through voice and body. Questions arise: What kind of femininity or masculinity naturally lives in me? What do I want for myself? And do I dare to share this fragility with the world around?
🤸🤸🤸 After the performance, we cordially invite you to a short workshop, during which the creators will present movement sequences and guide you through simple exercises inspired by the production. Afterwards, we will open an informal discussion with the creators.
🗣️ The show is in English.

What does it mean to be a woman, what does it mean to be a man?
What does it feel like? Where does that feeling live—in my body, in my memories? Egg Talks is a research-driven performance that explores the inner world of an ordinary man and an ordinary woman. It asks how we (do or don't) communicate with social categories, learned ideas, and adaptations.

^+ An ordinary woman and an ordinary man share memories tied to their assigned genders. Memories that many of us carry, only with different cracks, colors, patterns, and shits. We rarely speak about these subtle details. Egg Talks brings them to light through voice and body.
🤸🤸🤸 After the performance, we warmly invite you to join a short workshop, where the creators will share movement sequences and guide you through simple exercises inspired by the piece. Together, we will then open an informal discussion with artists.
