After three years of focusing exclusively on foreign artists we turn to the Czech art scene - we are unexpected meetings with some of its most prominent voices. poet Kamil Prince, ie image (Imago) and word (logos). However, it is not a combination of harmonious and peaceful-we are more of a collision of two trains whose burning debris will come from something unexpected and shocking.

Petrbok's work Imaging abstract relationships, properties and concepts with which it symbolically works as Algebra does with mathematical elements. Instead of numbers, matrices and polynomials, it uses colors, forms and shapes that they bring to new equations and contexts, thereby gaining other meanings. Unlike many surrealist painters working with dreams and subconscious, Petrbok's art language based on infallible logic, which communicates with us in demanding ciphers. Verses and phrases, so that they unload these linguistic segments on the operating table of Petrbok graphics. The exploitation of the original context and synthesis with artistic work creates concepts, but also spiritual, as the torso ritually sacrificed poems mature its resurrection as a magical spell, gaining a new life, although it is Frankenstein's life. This reverse Kafkov metamorphosis from miasmatically impure towards the original spotless fact "Actus purus" is never reached and remains only a short flash against the background of eternity.
Petrbok ) In its naked nature before its distortion of our rationalizing mind, while the prince perceives the world through Derrid's deconstruction linguistics in the sense of the word as a semantic anchor of the understanding of reality. In other words, in the exhibition, the principles of the vision of the world meet as a fleeting visual being just before its distortion by our thought courts, and the perception of the world through the concepts of a language as a communication code that focuses our individual reality. The poem becomes an element of the picture and the image is an element of the poem, and then the boundary between both falls like the walls of the biblical Jerich.
Patočka's movements of human existence with the capable of life (Will Zum Leben). The movement of the anchorage refers to thrown into life (Geworfenheit) with an emphasis on accepting the biological body and with it as well as our dark instincts and low needs, the movement of the fight forces us to aggressively and sexually promote at the expense of others. And negotiations with the appeal to resist the dictatorship of congenital tendencies unbridled to multiply then to destroy each other. Pathological sediments in the depths of our soul are then the imaginary "cerebalance" that never sleeps and, on the contrary, waits when we fall into the vulnerable lethargy ourselves. This exhibition aims to deviate from the vicious circle of general normality and discover new types of combinatorics between art and written expression. Only with the help of intellect and creativity (ie art) can be not only discovered and tamed and maybe domesticate and reconcile with him.
