Our paper restorer Lucie Živná will teach you the traditional paper marbling technique known as Ebru at the art workshop. 🎨
You may have heard of this technique before. It originated in Asia and spread in Europe in the 17th century. Still don't quite know what to imagine under that? This is how old books used to be decorated, see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vyga8VMWXKg&t=7s. Today it is more about hobby technology.

🎟️ Entrance fee: 250 CZK per person
👥 Capacity: max. 15 people
👧 Suitable for children from 8 years old
What awaits you:
🟣 First a bit of theory. You will learn about the history and principles of marbling.
🟣 Then you will prepare the colors.
🟣 And hooray for work. You apply the colors to the thickened water surface.
🟣 You then adjust them using combs and needles.
🟣 Finally, you print the pattern on paper or fabric. And you're done.
You can of course take home all your beautiful creations. So be sure to register to secure your place.
