We have prepared a discussion for you without borders with MUDr. Tomáš Šebek. We will talk about his work and about his missions he graduated. The discussion will take place 27.3. from 19:00. Tickets can be purchased at: www.divadlonamaninach.cz
In 2010 he joined the international organization doctors without borders and went to his first mission in Haiti. As the head physician of the National Spinal Unit on the Matericordiae University of Hospital, he worked in Dublin, Ireland in 2011 and 2012, when he also went on his second mission back to Haiti. In 2013, he joined the Na František Hospital in Prague, where he works as a surgical intensive care surgical unit. From there he went as the main traumatologist for his third mission with doctors without borders to North Afghanistan. In the same year, he published his first book “Haiti mission - 6 months with doctors without borders” supported by Haitian medical student at Charles University. In spring 2014 he was elected secretary of the Austrian board and also as a permanent member of the Congress of the Geneva Operational Center for doctors without borders. He left for the fourth mission again to Afghanistan in the spring of 2015. Followed by a mission in Yemen. Tomáš is a two -year -old general surgeon with thirteen years of practice in surgery and traumatology.
Currently specializes in endoscopy, laparoscopic procedures in the area of the abdominal cavity and at the same time on missions with doctors without borders devotes to injury surgery of abdomen, chest and limbs.
